Our Name Says It All

30 years ago, when a local group of investors chose the name Citizens Community Bank

It was just one of the ingredients that would set them apart from other financial institutions.

“When people know and trust their neighbors and can make decisions locally, we can better meet the financial needs of the people,” explained Dennis Walker.

This concept is proving to be the right choice, as the bank has the highest market share in the county. Numerous times, we have received recognition as one of the top banks in the nation. In June of 2000, we added a mortgage division to CCB. This expanded our assets and helped our community grow in the home loan market. We have been, and continue to be, a strong leader in the fixed rate mortgages in our geographical area.

“It is our goal to serve the financial needs of our citizens; to give back, to build and to strengthen our community and local economy; to enrich the lives of new residents; and to offer new opportunities for our children,” Walker continued.

The bank does this through many venues. We support both Huntland High’s and Franklin County High’s players and sporting events. Each year the bank recognizes two seniors from each school, one receiving a Vocational Education scholarship and one a Scholastic scholarship. We salute the bus drivers, teachers’ aides, and schools’ support staff with an appreciating banquet. We were the premier sponsor for the Agriculture Pavilion Program and are now a sponsor for the Volunteers in Medicine program. We contribute to the annual 4th of July Celebration in Huntland. These efforts, and many more, are the bank’s way of showing our appreciation to our customers and building a strong Community with a bright future.

The staff at all three locations are trained professionals who know their customers’ names and greet them with a friendly smile. Their expertise provides guidance in making those all-important financial decisions.

Citizens Community Bank has three convenient locations: the main office at 1418 Dinah Shore Blvd. in Winchester, drive-through facility at 2176 Decherd Blvd., a branch at 534 Main Street in Huntland. We provide all facets of financial services for all ages, from that first savings account to retirement planning.
