Citizens Community Bank announces that the 2012 scholarship applications can be picked up on or after February 1st for graduating seniors at Franklin County High School and Huntland High School. The bank provides one $6000 four-year scholarship at FCHS and HHS. The bank also provides one $750 vocational/technical scholarship at FCHS and HHS. The technical scholarships that are given are in memory of our directors Keith Mason (HHS) and Dr. Mike Stewart (FCHS). To be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships you must have a banking relationship with CCB. It can be the student, parent, legal guardian or grandparent. CCB started this program in 2005 and is pleased to give back to the youth in our community. Since starting this program CCB has awarded over $98,000 to the selected graduates.
The applications may be downloaded below or picked up at Citizens Community Bank Main Office on Dinah Shore Blvd., Drive-up Branch in Decherd, or at our Huntland Branch on Main Street. All applications must be returned to the bank by March 30, 2012, so they can be submitted to an independent scholarship committee for selection.
You may contact Nancy Damron at Citizens Community Bank with any questions at 931-967-3342.
